Hello East Lake, Atlanta!
We’ve had a great second year, and we’re ready to do all our prep work this winter season to come back strong once the growing season begins! We’ve got lots of big ideas and lots of big plans, and we’d love for you to come by and ask us about them! This is your garden, and we are here to build a healthy, knowledgeable, connected and sustainable community here in east Atlanta.
Hey, I mentioned big ideas! We’re going have a big group of volunteers this Saturday, November 12! This weekend we’re going to be welcoming volunteers from Emory University and the East Lake Community to help us beautify our spaces. Come on by this Saturday and bring your tools! We will be cleaning up the area, including the lot across the street where our partners, the East Lake Farmer’s Market, run during the spring, summer, and fall. We’ll be building some benches, mulching, and making our little spot of the city a happier, prettier, and more welcoming space!
